Visitors: To ensure the safety of our students all visitors must report to the office when they first enter school. The school office is located directly to the right after entering the building from the main entrance.

Wells Ogunquit Community School District (WOCSD) has a digital phone system. All classrooms have phone access and each staff member has been assigned a voice mailbox.
Classroom teachers have been directed to turn off phone ringers during normal school hours to inhibit the number of interruptions/distractions for their students. Calls to the classroom can be made between 8:00 and 8:25 in the morning and after 3:10. During the normal school day we would request that all phone calls go through the main office (646-5953). Office staff will be happy to forward your calls to staff voice mailboxes; however, if there is an emergency please indicate this immediately and we will take appropriate measures to respond.
We would suggest your message be forwarded to the teacher’s voice mail which is checked regularly. Changes to your child’s dismissal should always go through the main office secretarial staff to insure that your child reaches their final destination. These changes must be made prior to 2:15 p.m. Phone communications with students during the school day are not permitted.

Parents and citizens are encouraged to attend School Committee meetings which are generally held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Meetings take place at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools. All School Committee agendas and minutes are posted on the district website, http://k12wocsd.net. The first school committee meeting of each month is recorded and rebroadcast several times on Channel 3. All school budget information is also posted on the district website.
